The \u20ac242,000 figure is made up of <strong>\u20ac160,726 <\/strong> in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) and <b>\u20ac81,234<\/b> in one-off jobs. All the important KPI that I track for our business also improved:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2360\" height=\"448\" class=\"wp-image-10657\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.19.291.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.19.291.png 2360w, https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.19.291-580x110.png 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2360px) 100vw, 2360px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<h2><b>People, product and process<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<h3><b>People<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>Our core team grew from 4 to 7 people this year with an eighth developer who should join us soon. We tested out 19 new developers and ended up hiring 3 excellent PrestaShop experts. Thanks to our processes, we were able to get them up to speed fairly quickly. Although they joined us recently, their impact on our overall productivity is already being felt and <span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\">our project delivery time has improved significantly. The next goal is to systematize the tracking of the resolution time of the technical requests of our customers.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Product<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p><strong>New product:<\/strong> Since the launch of our productized services catalog last year, our vision has always been to eventually offer a subscription that would allow online store owners to get all their website tasks done for one monthly flat-rate. After months of building up our operational capacity and refining our offer based on customers&#8217; feedback, our new service was finally launched\u00a0 \ud83c\udf89 <b><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10581 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-06-27-a\u0300-12.37.43.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1636\" height=\"1104\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-06-27-a\u0300-12.37.43.png 1636w, https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-06-27-a\u0300-12.37.43-580x391.png 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1636px) 100vw, 1636px\" \/><\/b><\/p>\r\n<p><strong>New addon:<\/strong> To increase our referral traffic, we launched a new PrestaShop addon. Our platform automatically pushed it to our client websites to display a Clicboutic signature (with a clickable link to our website) in the footer of the storefront like below \ud83d\udc47<\/p>\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"2064\" height=\"938\" class=\"wp-image-10548\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-06-24-a\u0300-11.38.50.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-06-24-a\u0300-11.38.50.png 2064w, https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2022-06-24-a\u0300-11.38.50-580x264.png 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2064px) 100vw, 2064px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<p><strong>New backup system:<\/strong> We also improved our existing backup system to improve 1-click restore on our platform. It was also an opportunity for us to move the storage of backup files to a different hosting site to increase security. <b>87 projects completed \u2013<\/b> We more than doubled the number of projects completed compared to last year and intend to keep growing this part of our business in 2023.<\/p>\r\n<h3><b>Process<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>Most of our operational focus was to get C\u00e9dric off production projects so that he can dedicate himself fully to support and project management. This involved standardizing and documenting several processes related to client projects such as theme customization. It really helped with making our new developers autonomous in a lot of regular projects we get.<\/p>\r\n<p><span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\">I personally worked on refining our hiring system and I&#8217;m happy to say it paid off. It also gives us the confidence to rely on this process when we&#8217;ll need to add new developers to our team in 2023. <\/span><\/span><\/span>We want a uniform and streamlined way for Clicboutic Experts to<span class=\"VIiyi\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"JLqJ4b ChMk0b\" data-language-for-alternatives=\"en\" data-language-to-translate-into=\"fr\" data-phrase-index=\"0\" data-number-of-phrases=\"1\"><span class=\"Q4iAWc\"> integrate into our organization, assign them new tasks, help them deliver quickly and manage customer expectations while working on their store.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\r\n<h2><b>Website traffic<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<p>Our website traffic took a hit because of a wrong configuration change I made in February that resulted in our blog being offline during that period \ud83e\udd26\ud83c\udffb\u200d\u2642\ufe0f While we didn&#8217;t publish any new blog posts in 2022, we know the potential of this channel to acquire new users and it will be one of our main focuses this year.<\/p>\r\n<h3><b><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10660 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.38.41.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1950\" height=\"1058\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.38.41.png 1950w, https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.38.41-580x315.png 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1950px) 100vw, 1950px\" \/><\/b><\/h3>\r\n<h3><b>Traffic sources<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>Not much to report here except for the blog was obviously under exploited.<\/p>\r\n<h3><b><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10662 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.44.26.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"2006\" height=\"712\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.44.26.png 2006w, https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.44.26-580x206.png 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 2006px) 100vw, 2006px\" \/><\/b><\/h3>\r\n<h3><b>Email list growth<\/b><\/h3>\r\n<p>We added <b>58 new subscribers <\/b>to our email list <b>(10,729)<\/b>. Our email marketing channel is an untapped source of acquisition that will be relaunched in 2023.<\/p>\r\n\r\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"1858\" height=\"614\" class=\"wp-image-10664\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.50.15.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.50.15.png 1858w, https:\/\/blog.clicboutic.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/Capture-de\u0301cran-2023-01-20-a\u0300-15.50.15-580x192.png 580w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1858px) 100vw, 1858px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n\r\n<h2><b>Marketing and acquisition<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<p>In terms of funnel performance during 2022, we got <strong>1147<\/strong><b> new leads. <\/b>From these <strong>1147<\/strong> leads came\u00a0<b><strong>83<\/strong> demos<\/b> and\u00a0<b><strong>30<\/strong> <\/b>of them became customers at an <b>AOV of \u20ac<strong>1940<\/strong><\/b> and a CAC per customer of <b><strong>\u20ac472<\/strong><\/b>. As we started experimenting with partial payments to increase conversions (pay 50% now, 50% at delivery) and are switching to a subscription model (rather than one-off projects), our immediate AOV slightly decreased (but our CLTV increased by more than 30%).<\/p>\r\n<h2><b>What\u2019s coming in 2023 ?<\/b><\/h2>\r\n<p>Our main focus will be to grow our annual revenue to \u20ac300,000 in 2023 by implementing a growth strategy that I&#8217;d like to keep secret for now \ud83e\udd2b That\u2019s it.
